Information Technology & Social Media
The Information Technology Department performs a variety of functions (IT
Disciplines / Competencies) that range from installing
applications to designing complex networks and
information databases. The duties of the IT staff include
data management, technical documentation of all processes
and procedures, networking, computer hardware/software,
telephony, database, web (HTML), graphics and design,
maintenance of all of the City's
Social Media Sites as well as management and administration of
entire systems.
The
Information
Technology Department
provides support to City Hall, Airport, Library, 3 Fire
Stations, Municipal Court, Police, Public Facilities &
Utilities,
and Parks & Recreation. |

Experience:
- Over 20 years experience
in Information Technology while working in the following
fields: Oil & Gas, Natural Gas Trading, Financial
Institutions, Higher Education / Student Loan Industry and Government
Municipalities.
- Skills range from: ES9000 /
AS400 Operations Data Centers, Technical Customer Support,
Novell & Windows Networks, Technical Writing / User & Operations
Manuals, Software Training & Module Design, Relational MS
Access Databases / SQL / Visual Basic / Macros, Graphics
Design, Web Development / HTML / CGI Pearl, JavaScript,
Active Server Pages (ASP), Cascade Style Sheets (CSS) and
Content Management Systems (CMS).
