The City Secretary is responsible for conducting the city's General Election.  The city's General Election is on the second Saturday in May in 2008.  Positions opened for the May 2008 General Election are as follows:  District No's. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6.  Individuals' interested in running for office must contact the City Secretary for an application at 956-968-3181, Ext. 3101 or 3102.  First day to file is February 9, 2008 and the deadline to file is March 10, 2008.
