The Weslaco Fire Department consists of 76 paid and 10 volunteer firefighters, providing Mobile Intensive Care level EMS and Fire Protection for approximately 50,000 people in a 74 square mile response area. We're a civil service department with collective bargaining that results in great benefits, plus an excellent work environment.
