It is with great pleasure for me, as Mayor of Weslaco, a nationally recognized and designated All-America City, to extend to you a warm welcome to our City.

Weslaco is a very pro-active, energetic, culturally diverse, and progressive business community whose location in south Texas affords our visitors the opportunity to partake in our rich culture, unique businesses, and state-wide recognized and diverse restaurants. Experience and sample South Texas (or Tex-Mex) culture at its best.

While here, we encourage you to shop for designer clothes at discount prices, hunt, fish, bird watch, or swim in the warm waters of the Gulf within a one hour drive or visit and shop in a safe and tourist-friendly environment for Mexican products, medications, and curios in less than ten minutes at our sister city across the U.S-Mexico border.
