Connecting New Utility Services
New customers requesting water service with the City of Weslaco must apply in person at City Hall located at 255 S. Kansas Ave.
*Requests received after 3:00 pm will be processed the following business day.
All faucets or water-related appliances must be turned off or customer service representatives will not be able to turn services on.
Residential Service Requirements:
Resident must fill out New Service agreement
Valid driver’s license or Government-issued ID
A formal rental lease/agreement if renting, otherwise closing documents or proof of ownership is required.
Deposit of $100.00 for homeowners or $149.00 for renters
*Please note that in order to start new services any unpaid balances must be cleared up.
Commercial Service Requirements:
The representative must fill out a New Service agreement
Owner/President/Manager’s valid driver’s license or state Government-issued ID
A formal rental lease/agreement if renting, otherwise closing documents or proof of ownership is required.
Deposit of $100.00 for property owners or $149.00 for renters
A separate deposit is required for dumpsters and will depend on the size requested
