Weslaco Police Chief, Dr. Joel Rivera, shared a few words:
"He has created a District Attorney's office that is innovative, efficient, and effective. That is what he has been able to do through his transformational leadership."
"His impact hasn't been to just to the District Attorney's office, it has been through the other side of the criminal justice coin. On the law enforcement side, I can tell you that as Chief of Police I have encountered difficulties and I have picked up the phone and he has always answered and he has always listened."
"He has fostered and created relationships with law enforcement where there was none or there was limited partnership."

Chief Guerrero, from City of Donna, expressed some words as well:
"The way things have changed, it's a big change."
"Rick Rodriguez really changed the collaboration, on behalf of Donna a big thank you to all the people you have helped."

"I want to thank District Attorney Rodriguez for those 16 years he gave to the state and to the county in public service." mentioned Sheriff J.E. "Eddie" Guerra.
