On Saturday, members of The Family Church in Weslaco volunteered to help clean up two properties.

Along with city staff, they cleared the properties of debris and overgrown trees and grass. 

The church group reached out to the City of Weslaco, searching for ways to help residents. The city then identified two residents who were in dire need of assistance with their yards. 

The city would like to thank the volunteers who assisted with this community project. We appreciate their partnership in helping our residents prosper.
