Weslaco High School student volunteers team up with Parks Department

On Saturday, September 10, our parks department had the pleasure of being joined by Weslaco High School student volunteers. 
 
Students in Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), the wrestling team, and other volunteers spent their day giving back to the beautiful Weslaco community. 
 
These high school students inspire us to always value and respect our public and environmental spaces.

Our parks department trimmed trees and hauled away littler. They were happy to support these future leaders’ community service project. 
 
The city of Weslaco would like to thank the students and their sponsors for spending their Saturday being exceptional examples in Weslaco.
