Weslaco Animal Care Services is proud to partner with Petco.

Petco Weslaco has not done adoptions since COVID, and we are happy to be the first shelter in the area to do so. This partnership signifies more animals getting adopted by loving families.  Rebekah De La Fuente, Planning and Code Enforcement Director as well as Milvia Orellana, Animal Control Officer, dropped off the first two cats at Petco to initiate the partnership. Petco will have the animals available for adoption. 
In fact, Callie, one of the two cats that were being dropped off at Petco, was adopted within 10 minutes of arriving at the store. 



Keanu, a Siamese male cat, is still looking for a loving family.
