Mayor David Suarez and City Commission recognize the Weslaco Police Communications team.



They are an essential part of the City of Weslaco's public safety infrastructure, providing 24/7 communication and support for law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services. These dedicated men and women are more than anonymous voices on the telephone dispatch line.



The Weslaco Police Communications team is responsible for answering emergency and non-emergency calls, dispatching first responders, and ensuring the safety of the community by coordinating critical resources during times of crisis. The public relies on their knowledge and professionalism as they make critical decisions, obtain information, and quickly dispatch needed aid.
