On Saturday July 1st, 2023 Tracy's Paws Rescue donated their first oversized check to City of Weslaco, Weslaco Animal Care Services. The generous donation from Tracy Voss included a full amount of One Thousand Five Hundred even dollars that will go towards Weslaco Animal Care Services. There to receive the check (from left to right) Commissioner Letty Lopez, Mayor Pro Tem J.P. Rodriguez, Mayor David Suarez, Adoption and Rescue Coordinator Maribel Orellana.


Together Tracy's Paws Rescue and Weslaco Animal Care Services joining Mayor Joe V. Sanchez Public Library hosted an educational event for children to attend this summer. The event covered important topics such as spay and neuter for cats and dogs and microchip services.
